GENERAL TEA INFO

"Tea" originally referred to one species of plant that was cultivated in China, Camellia sinensis, also known as the black tea shrub. Various varieties of teas have been valued both as medicine and pleasure for 4,000 years.

I began using herbal tea blends for medicinal uses in the early 90's, then started recommending blends to family and friends. In the most recent years, as most commercial teas have started adding "natural flavor" to teas, I began blending my own loose leaf and herbal teas that only included bare organic ingredients to avoid chemical laced products.

I hand blend my own recipies using only high quality ingredients. I started with a couple of different basic blends and slowly add other blends. Check back often to see what new blend I have added.
